Fluke is a collaboration with Katie DeVries, and was made possible with the generous support of Mascall Dance.

Its origins lie in a fascination with creatures of the deep- notably fantastical ones, and especially those found in and around BC (Cadborosaurus, Ogopogo).  The journey of the “characters” in the work could be one of shape-shifting, evolution, or simply being.  At any rate they are unusual, intertwined, rarely sighted, and often still.
